There have been rumors that a new radio station is under testing, a radio that would be for Rock Music.
For many users metal and rock fans have been thirsty for music on the radio, to compensate things like Metal Nights and Metal Asylum came about. But the idea of a dedicated rock station seems like something UAE should have had a long time ago.

Update: The station is 90.8 and Rock Radio was released on 11:11:11 at 11:11 am
Its part of Fujairah Media Group and is first and only Rock Radio in the Gulf region.
